The Alliance Academy

The Alliance Academy was founded with the goal of connecting Eorzeans. Namely, linking those who held a desire to learn with individuals who wished to share their knowledge. Outside of traditional guilds, the Academy allows for a more personal approach to education and personal development.

Students among the Academy are given access to a growing body of mentors. Fields of study offered range from specialized martial arts, scholarly pursuits, personal skill development, leadership training, and more! Get connected to see what current mentors are offering. Students are also able to work towards an Academy Diploma to reward their devotion to the pursuit of knowledge.

Mentor, a term we use to refer to those who guide, teach, and work to make their students better. To successfully be an Academy mentor requires an elevated level of commitment and dedication as the roleplay of others becomes integrated with your own. With greater work, comes greater rewards, fulfilment, and recognition. The most accomplished mentors may even be called upon to represent the Alliance Academy as a public orators during server events. Do you have what it takes to train the next generation? Activities explained...

The Academy has a diverse history of activities that faciliate character growth roleplay. Since 'in character' education is our primary focus, most of what we promote is in some way related to that pursuit.

For example: The Academy took a trip to Shirogane, staying at a local free company with the purpose of gaining a deeper understanding of eastern cultures and customs. We enjoyed local sights, meals, history lessons, creative games, martial lessons, and interviews with eastern based characters. There was even fun on the beach!

Periodically, we offer lectures that will be open to the public (the server). Other times, we may travel to a local establishment to facilitate socializing between mentors, students, knights and squires. In between these activities, we often share in thought provoking fireside chats at the Academy hall.

The Alliance Order

The Alliance Order was founded with the purpose of supporting of the Grand Eorzean Alliance. To extend opportunity to the most dedicated, the Knighthood Program was established. This program has forged Knights from across the star, all united in their cause to defend and protect the nations from the ever reaching grip of the Garlean Empire.

Squires of the Knighthood Program are tested in a variety of ways. At the direction of their Knight-trainer, they are taught to hone their minds and bodies for the challenges they will surely face. Each squire is assigned certain benchmarks they must complete in order to graduate from the program as a fully fledged Alliance Knight.

Knights are a crucial component to the Alliance Order's Knighthood Program. There is a diverse group among the Knight-trainers. Some of the trainers are from the first generation of graduates, passing on their knowledge and wisdom to those who seek the path. There is also a spectrum of Ishgardian Knights who have come to offer their aid, believing in the vision of what the Order seeks to accomplish. No matter where the Knights come from, they each add to the training of squires in unique and enriching ways.

Please note: The program only allows for a maximum of two squires per Knight. Your character may be placed on a wait list until a Knight-trainer becomes available.
